# Debit Multiple Wallets

> This endpoint enables partners to debit multiple wallets linked to a user

Debits up to 100 linked wallets for one user in a single command (operation `MULTI_DEBIT`), in the order given, each up to its own cap, until `amount` is collected.

Unknown fields are rejected. The total to debit is supplied in `amount`, not `coins`.

### Response

Always **HTTP 200** once accepted, with `message: "wallets debited successfully"` and `data.state` of `succeeded` or `processing`.

`data.coinsLedger` is normally **absent** when several wallets moved; it appears only when exactly one user wallet moved.

For `processing`, poll [Get Transfer Status](https://docs.bvndle.com/coins/get-transfer-status.md) with the same `reference`.

### Failures Specific to This Route

| HTTP | `appErrorCode` | Meaning | What to do |
| - | - | - | - |
| 400 | `link_not_authorized` | A wallet is not linked to `userId` ("Wallet Does Not Belong To User"). | Fix the wallet list; use a new reference. |
| 400 | `wallet_owner_not_migrated` | A wallet belongs to a partner not enabled for v2. | Use `/api/v1` for this debit. |
| 400 | `authorization_ambiguous` | A wallet link changed while the request was being accepted. | Retry with a new reference. |
| 400 | `authorization_unavailable` | Wallet links could not be verified. | Retry with a new reference. |
